Piez Pages

We hear there are (at least!) three unrelated families in the United States named Piez. There is a family of Hispanic origin in the Southwest (originally spelled “Paes”?); there is a family of Eastern European origin (was the name truncated from something longer?); and there are descendants of Jacob Piez, a brewer from Western Germany who immigrated to Newark, NJ in the mid-nineteenth century. This site is maintained by a member of the last family.

We have cousins in Germany and in Australia.
